Evolution
A galaxy turns quietly inside every cell
Blue moves like water around white stones.
Each stone is a net of tiny rooms.
In one room, a red spiral turns slowly.
In another, yellow light gathers at the edge.
Small orange seeds wait in dark rings.
The near and the far wear the same skin.
The work
Nishkala Polamarasetty paints Evolution in acrylic on Canson paper. Round shapes float in a deep blue ground. Many of them hold a fine net of small cells, like plant tissue seen under a lens. Inside some, red and yellow spirals turn like far galaxies. Short curved brush marks flow around the shapes like water around stones. Polamarasetty comes from Andhra University in Visakhapatnam. For Polamarasetty, nature teaches without words: patience from trees and surrender from rivers.
In the artist’s words
“I have always felt drawn to the things that share this earth with us: trees, rivers, flowers, insects and natural shapes. Human existence is linked with the non-human world. Nature does not lecture or demand. It simply is. Turning towards it gives me a place where the mental static clears, leaving room for stillness and reflection.”
