Submit your work

There is no fee. There has never been a fee. There will not be one.

Send us up to eight works. We accept visual artists anywhere in India — students at art school, artists in their first years out, and anyone making serious work who never got a seat. The call is rolling and does not close.

If we publish you, you keep every right to everything you made. We take a limited, non-exclusive licence to publish. You can sell, show and licence the same work anywhere else, at the same time.

What to send

Up to eight works, one photograph each, taken in daylight at the highest resolution your camera has, out of glass. Titles, year, medium and size in centimetres. About fifteen minutes of form, plus however long the photographs take.

What happens next

A panel of practising artists reads your submission without your name, college or city attached. If they choose your work, someone who has trained as an artist calls you, and we build the article from that conversation. You see every quotation and every fact before it is published.
